Psychology Summer Internship

  • Work remotely 5-10 hours a week with a self-determined schedule.

  • Provide mental health outreach by posting on the practice’s Instagram, including coping skills, therapy resources, and mental health information.

  • Create graphics to post on social media explaining psychological information in accessible language.

  • Research and write articles on mental health topics for the practice's website.

  • Engage in marketing for a small business to learn about a psychotherapy private practice.

  • Attend weekly supervision meetings with a licensed psychologist to discuss internship tasks and career development.

  • Ideal for an undergraduate student interested in going to graduate school for clinical psychology or a current clinical psychology graduate student interested in private practice.

Current Intern

Caitlyn Filler

Caitlin is a senior at Clemson University, double majoring in Psychology and Marketing. She is interested in pursuing a career in psychology or business after graduation. She is passionate about applying her psychology knowledge in a practical setting.

As an intern, Caitlyn creates weekly content for the practice’s Instagram page centered on therapy dog Carlie. She also developed the Instagram account’s brand.
